Groupthink is common but can be dangerous, as demonstrated by President Kennedy's Bay of Pigs disaster, where his advisors failed to voice dissent, resulting in a catastrophic decision. Leaders are advised to withhold their initial opinions, encourage open debate, and appoint a 'devil’s advocate' to challenge consensus.
